San Jac BlackBoard is the Learning Management System for San Jacinto College. Blackboard Learn is an application for online teaching, learning, community establishment and knowledge sharing. Since Blackboard is open, easygoing, and centred on student achievement, it is used by San Jacinto College to support all courses available in San Jacinto College. With the Blackboard Learning Management System, students and faculty can partake in classes offered online or access online course materials and activities to complement the face-to-face classroom experiences. Blackboard Learn offers:

• Email, discussion boards and chat communication tools
• Gradebook and assessment tools
• Assignment submission and plagiarism detection
• Tools for incorporating and linking content, exchanging files and managing a calendar
• Built-in visual themes using individual page layouts and colour schemes
• Blogs and journals

How to Access San Jac BlackBoard 2023

Below is a step-by-step guide on how to log into San Jacinto College BlackBoard. You can log into San Jac Blackboard on your desktop or Laptop with a web browser or on your mobile phone with the BlackBoard mobile app. The BlackBoard mobile application is available in Google Play Store for Android and App Store for iOS. The Blackboard has two mobile apps for easy access for students and instructors. Blackboard is accessed over the internet. Students are encouraged to verify they are using a compatible internet browser.

How to Login to San Jac BlackBoard

Below are the steps to guide you to log in and access the San Jac Blackboard with a web browser.

1. On your compatible internet browser, go to the San Jac Blackboard Support page at sanjac.edu/blackboard.
2. Click on the ”Blackboard Login” button.
3. Now click on the “CLICK HERE to log in to Blackboard” button.
4. Enter your username. Your USERNAME will be your last name dot first initial the last six numbers of your G# followed by @stu.sanjac.edu.
5. Click on “Next”.
6. Enter your Password.
7. Click on “Sign In” to access your San Jacinto College BlackBoard dashboard.
