My Sac State is your private student site where you may manage your account at Sacramento State University and use the technological services offered by the school, including your @csus.edu email. The Student Center (mycsus) provides access to the KEYS to Degree Toolbox, Canvas, Smart Planner, official grades, financial aid information, unofficial transcripts, and more. Logging Into My Sac State Login Portal
- Go to my.csus.edu and log in.
- Enter the username you use.
- Type your password.
- To access my Sac State student portal, click the Login link.
Creating My SacLink Account
- Visit SacLink account management page.
- Click the Verify your Identity button after providing the necessary information.
- Enter a password, respond to the personal security questions, and accept the terms and conditions.
- If you forget your password, you may change it at any moment by providing the answers to your personal questions.
- The following screen will show your SacLink username and email address if you successfully registered an account.
- The system can handle your request in up to 24 hours.
Resetting Your Password
- Head over to the Password Manager.
- Type your university’s SacLink username here.
- Click ‘I forgot my password’.
- Enter the month and day of your birth as the date (MMDD).
- Select where you want to get your reset code: Email Code or Text Code.
- Personal accounts: A reset code will be texted or emailed to your personal contact information.
- Generic-type accounts: A reset code will be emailed to the account sponsor’s University email.
- The University email address of the account sponsor will get a reset code.
- Admin accounts cannot have their passwords reset using the Password Manager.
- To reset admin account passwords, get in touch with the IRT Service Desk Team at servicedesk@csus.edu or 916-278-7337.
- The reset code should be in your phone or email.
- Click Continue after entering the code that was supplied to you in the Password Manager.
- Each code has a 10-minute expiration date.
- In “My profile,” click the Change Password option.
- Verify that your password complies with the criteria.
- Don’t use the entire or partial SacLink ID, or the term “password.”
- Avoid using common phrases.
- Make sure there are at least 12 characters.
- Click Password Change.
