Franklin D. Boyce Annual Health Scholarship 2023-2024
The John Randolph Foundation 2023-2024 established the Franklin D. Boyce Annual Health Scholarship program in remembrance of Mr Boyce’s tenure as CEO of the medical facility. The scholarship is funded through private donations and the John Randolph Foundation Endowment. The scholarship is given to students who are enrolled or plan to enrol in an institution of higher education for an undergraduate or graduate degree program in health-related areas. The scholarship program is designed to encourage more students to pursue careers in health care. The Franklin D. Boyce Annual Health Scholarship has provided benefits to nurses, pharmacists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, social workers, doctors, ultrasound technicians, psychologists, healthcare management, and biologists. Recipients of the scholarship program are awarded an amount of $2500. The scholarship selection board committee selects the qualifying candidate to receive the funds, which can be renewed for three years in a sequence. The John Randolph Foundation 2023-2024 scholarship prize may be utilised by the scholarship recipient to cover tuition and fees, on-campus housing, meal plan costs, as well as books and supplies. Scholarship recipients are selected by the scholarship committee based on certain eligibility criteria.
Franklin D. Boyce Annual Health Scholarship Eligibility Criteria 2023-2024
In order to apply for and receive the scholarship program, the candidate must meet the requirements established by the scholarship committee; Which are:
- The applicant must be pursuing a full-time or part-time undergraduate or graduate course in a health-related field.
- The student must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Applicant must be in a state of financial need
- Students working at the John Randolph Foundation are fit to apply if only there is no family member employed in the foundation
Franklin D. Boyce Annual Health Scholarship Application Procedure 2023/24
- Access and complete the online application form via the foundation website bfalls@johnrandolphfoundation.org;
submit application. - Submit Transcript of records from the high school or college
- Submit Student Aid Report (SAR) including the Expected Family Contribution (EFC)/FAFSA Application.
- Submit Three letters of recommendation.
- Attach your Personal statement and essay based on the topic provided.
- The application must be submitted before February 15, 2023.
