Only qualifying U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and foreign students are eligible for the Undergraduate Admissions Presidential Scholarship.
Students must be accepted to FIU by November 15, 2022 for Early Fall/Fall 2023 in order to be considered for academic merit scholarships.
To give the application enough time to be processed, students are highly advised to submit a finished admissions application by October 15th.
When registering for the SAT or ACT, applicants must request that their test results be forwarded directly to FIU so that the institution can review them for scholarship eligibility. The last test dates for scholarship eligibility are November 5, 2022 for the SAT and October 22, 2022 for the ACT; all other supporting documentation and a full application should already be submitted. Several FIU and national merit scholarships are open to freshmen and transfer students. These awards are given out in recognition of exceptional academic abilities as shown by your GPA, an essay, or other accomplishments. The scholarship program awards 100% Undergraduate tuition and fees, plus a book stipend
