Exceptional Nurse scholarship is a social network dedicated to increasing the number of persons with disabilities who work in the nursing profession. Exceptional Nurse intends to support the integration of students with disabilities in nursing school programs, as well as to promote resilience and continuous practice for nurses who are or will become impaired. Exceptional Nurse provides scholarships to nursing students with disabilities, nurses with a disability, nursing educators or guidance counsellors working with a student with disabilities.

Exceptional Nurse College Scholarships Eligibility Requirements 2023-2024

• Online application. Ensure that all documents are available to fill out the application form
• An essay containing 1-2 typed pages in PDF or DOC format of any of these Topics”How do you plan to contribute to the nursing profession? , What are your strengths and weaknesses? , How will your disability influence your practice as a nurse? What accommodations will be necessary for you to achieve your goals?”
• A list of 3 references in a PDF or DOC format.
• A completed Medical Verification of Disability Form.
• Official transcripts from the high school/college or university

Exceptional Nurse College Scholarships Application Procedure 2023-2024

• Completed and submit a signed application form via the website ExceptionalNurse@aol.com.
• Submit Three letters of recommendation from individuals who can attest to your academic abilities and personal character
• Submit An essay of 1-2 typed pages in PDF or DOC format on any of these subjects;
  “How do you intend to make a difference in the nursing profession?
  What are your strong points and weak points?
  How will your impairment affect your nursing practice?
  What accommodations would you require to fulfil your objectives?”
• Submit Official transcripts of high school/and or college courses completed.
• Attach Medical Verification of Disability Form.
• Applications must be submitted by June 1, 2023.
