ETH Zurich Excellence Scholarship 2023 (Fully Funded)

For international students, the ETH Zurich Excellence Scholarship 2023 (Fully Funded) is available. The scholarship permits students to enroll in Masters-level programs in any of the subjects offered at ETH Zurich. The scholarship’s deadline is 15 December 2023. Benefits of the Scholarship

• Living and educational costs (CHF 12,000 each semester) as well as a remission of the tuition charge.
• For the normal length of the Master’s program, ESOP is given (three or four semesters). This is true for the waiver of tuition as well.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must fulfill the following criteria in order to be eligible for the ETH Zurich Excellence Scholarship and Opportunity Programme:

• Excellent performance on a Bachelor’s degree program (top 10% of Bachelor’s degree programs Equals grade A).
• Excellent research skills should be displayed.
• As the selection process may involve a phone/VC interview in February, please make sure that you can be reached at the number shown in your CV.

Application Process

• Applicants must submit an online application using the eApply application site in order to be considered for the ETH Zurich Excellence Scholarship and Opportunity Programme 2023.
• Applications are now being accepted for the first window of the scholarship.

Selection Process

The beginning of the academic year 2023–2024 will see the assignment of about 60 ESOP scholarships.
The Admissions Committees of the corresponding Master’s programs review the applications. The final decision for awarding scholarships in the Excellence Scholarship & Opportunity Programme rests with the Rector of ETH Zurich. The exact number of annual scholarships depends on the availability of funds. A decision is announced by the end of March.
