eQuality Scholarship 2023-2024

The eQuality Scholarship acknowledges and honours hardworking individuals who are pursuing a future education, security, and financial stability. The eQuality scholarship program has provided scholarships to 14 graduating high school seniors, two community college transfer students, one nursing student, and four graduate healthcare students. The eQuality Scholarships are available for postsecondary education at approved institutions such as colleges, universities, and trade schools. Some of the scholarships are aimed particularly towards medical students.

eQuality Scholarship Offers scholarships for four Types of students 2023-2024

The eQuality scholarship is offering scholarships awards to four different types of students for 2023, which are;

• Scholarships for Graduating High School Seniors and Recent High School Graduates
• Adolph Y. Bremerman, Jr. Scholarships for Oakland Unified School District Graduates
• Scholarship for community transfer students
• Scholarships for medical students

 

eQuality Scholarship Eligibility Requirements 2023-2024

• Applicant must be a Resident of northern or central California
• The applicant is expected to complete community college /high school between 1 Jul 2018 and 30 Jun 2023
• Applicants must be LGBT+ graduates of Oakland Unified School District high schools
• Applicant must be Enrolled or accepted for enrollment in an accredited ADN or BSN RN program in California
• Applicant must attend a U.S.-accredited college or university after Spring 2023.
• Applicant must have a graduate degree in another health care field at an accredited graduate school in California
• Applicant must be pursuing a MD or DO degree to qualify for the Medical student’s scholarship
• Applicant must not have received an eQuality graduate student scholarship before.
• Applicants must have demonstrated service to the LGBT+ community.
• The application deadline is January 31 2023.

eQuality Scholarship Application Procedure 2023-2024

• Complete and submit your application online by creating an account using a valid email via the website:
• All candidates will be notified whether or not they have been chosen as a finalist for an interview by the end of February.
• All final applicants will be interviewed on Sunday, 12 March 2023, and Saturday, 18 March 2023.
• All transcripts and school records must be submitted.
• The application deadline is January 31 2023.
