DAAD Postgraduate Scholarship 2023

The DAAD Postgraduate Scholarship in Fine Arts, Design, Visual Communication, and Film 2023 is now available to international students. The scholarship provides for Masters’s level programs at DAAD – Deutscher Akademischer Austausch Dienst in the fields of Fine Arts, Designing, Visual Communication, and Film Studies. The DAAD Postgraduate Grant is a fully financed scholarship that allows you to continue your academic career or course of study in the subjects of Fine Art, Design, Visual Communication, and Film in Germany. The scholarships also encourage the sharing of knowledge and networking among peers. The German Academic Exchange Service, or DAAD, was established in 1925 and is Germany’s main support organization for international academic cooperation. This scholarship programme offers applicants the opportunity to continue their studies in Germany with a postgraduate or continuing course of study in the fields of fine art, Design, Visual Communication and Film. The scholarship program covers;

Monthly payment of 861 euros
Travel allowance
One-off study allowance
Payments towards health, accident and personal liability insurance cover

DAAD Postgraduate Scholarship Application Eligibility/Requirement 2023

Applicant must be studying in any of these fields; Fine Arts, Designing, Visual Communication and Film Studies
Applicants must have gained a first university degree in the fields of Fine Art, Design, Visual Communication and Film at the latest by the time they commence their scholarship-supported study programme.
This scholarship is open to international students.
Applicants’ university degrees should not date back more than 6 years at the time of the application deadline.

Complete an online application form
Submit A current Transcript of Records with individual grades, University degree certificate indicating final grades
Submit work samples to the DAAD media database
Submit your English language proficiency
The application must be submitted before October 1, 2023
