How to Access Cuny eLearning Portal

If you are a student of the City University of New York (CUNY), a Blackboard account has been reserved for you to enable you to access your courses on the CUNY eLearning Portal. The CUNY eLearning Portal (Blackboard) can be accessed on a desktop or laptop through your web browser or can be accessed on your mobile device through the Blackboard App. To access the CUNY Blackboard, you must first login to your CUNY eLearning Portal page. Logging in to CUNY Blackboard requires your CUNY Login credentials. If you have not claimed your CUNYfirst account, you must do so on https://home.cunyfirst.cuny.edu/ before accessing the CUNY eLearning Portal.

How to Log into CUNY eLearning Portal (Blackboard)

1. In your web browser, go to the CUNY website at www.cuny.edu.
2. Navigate to Login, and click on “Blackboard” from the Login dropdown menu.
3. Enter your CUNY Login username. Your CUNY Login username is your CUNYfirst username followed by @login.cuny.edu.
4. Enter your CUNY Login password. Your CUNY Login password is the same as your CUNYfirst password.
5. Click on “Log in”. The CUNY eLearning Portal (Blackboard) will open with the Home tab active.

Students can access all their courses in the “My Course” module. Click on the “My Course module and search for the course you want to access.

The free Blackboard app allows you to access your Blackboard course wherever you are.
