Blackboard is the Learning Manage System (LMS) for the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). Blackboard is a full-featured learning management system. CUHK Blackboard is the current University-wide eLearning system with an integrated set of tools that aid in course delivery, learning communities, content management and assessment. With the CUHK Blackboard, students can access their online learning materials, submit assignments, participate in online discussions, take quizzes and interact with their fellow students. Staff can use the CUHK Blackboard to view their courses, and student lists at its Grade Centre and email their students with its email or announcement function.

The CUHK Blackboard is available and accessible to students and staff. No application or service charge is required to access the Chinese University of Hong Kong Learning Management System, CUHK Blackboard. All users can use mobile apps to access the system on their mobile devices.

Simple Way to Access CUHK CUSIS 2023

The CUHK Blackboard is accessible only to staff and students of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. CUHK Blackboard can be accessed through the web login with a supported web browser or via the Blackboard mobile app for students and the Blackboard instructors app for staff. To have access, you must first log in with your valid Student ID and OnePass (CWEM) password.

How to Log into CUHK Blackboard with the Web Login

There are two web logins you can use to access the CUHK Blackboard; Blackboard web login and MyCUHK web login.

Loggging in via MyCUHK Web Login

1. Go to the MyCUHK Web Login page at https://portal.cuhk.edu.hk on your supported web browser.
2. On the MyCUHK Web Login page, enter your Login ID in the space provided. Your Login ID is your student ID with @link.cuhk.edu.hk
3. Enter your Password. Your password is the OnePass password.
4. Click on “Sign in” to access the MyCUHK homepage.
5. Click on eLearning then Blackboard to access your CUHK Blackboard page.

Logging in via Blackboard Web Login

1. Go to the Blackboard Web Login at https://portal.cuhk.edu.hk on your supported browser.
2. Enter your Login ID in the space provided. Your Login ID is your student ID with @link.cuhk.edu.hk
3. Enter your Password. Your password is the OnePass password
4. Click on “Sign in” to access your CUHK Blackboard.

Students can also log in on their mobile devices with the Blackboard app.

How to Log into CUHK BlackBoard via Blackboard App

To log in with the app, verify if the Chinese University of Hong Kong has enabled mobile device access. If yes download the Blackboard app from Google Play Store (Android) or App Store (iOS). Install the Blackboard app on your mobile device and follow the steps below to log in:

1. Open the Blackboard Learn app.
2. Search for the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
3. Enter your Login ID and Password. Your Login ID is your student ID followed by @link.cuhk.edu.hk and your password is OnePass password.
4. Click on “Log in” to have access to your CUHK Blackboard.

1. Go to the Blackboard Web Login at https://www.edtech.cuhk.edu.hk/lms-blackboard on your supported browser.
2. Enter your Login ID in the space provided. Your Login ID is Username: alias@cuhk.edu.hk / computing-ID@link.cuhk.edu.hk.
3. Enter your Password. Your password is the OnePass password
4. Click on “Sign in” to access your Blackboard homepage.

Logging as a local accounts holder (i.e. usernames and passwords given by ITSC Blackboard Support Team)

1. Go to the Blackboard Web Login at https://portal.cuhk.edu.hk on your supported browser.
2. Follow the instructions to log in.

The system will redirect to the CUHK Login page after logout OR if a wrong password is inputted. Please try login again at https://blackboard.cuhk.edu.hk/webapps/logi/?action=default_login
