Corsair Connect: How to Access SMC Login 2023

Corsair Connect is Santa Monica College’s student portal or login for enrollment, financial aid, counselling and other relevant student services. With the Corsair Connect or SMC Login, students can view their enrollment results, enrol online after their initial semester as Santa Monica College Emeritus students and receive communication from their instructors through their SMC student email account. You can access your SMC student email, add and drop classes, pay your fees, apply for financial aid, view your student records, and keep up to date with course dates and deadlines, and your class schedule.

Corsair Connect: How to Access SMC Login 2023

All information on how to access your Corsair Connect is available here to assist you to log into your Corsair Connect and access your SMC student services. To access your Corsair Connect, you must first log in with your SMC username and password. To log into your Corsair Connect Account, you must set up your Corsair Connect Account. To set up your Corsair Connect account, kindly follow the simple steps outlined below to set up your Corsair Connect.

How to Set Up your Corsair Connect Account

1. Navigate to the Corsair Connect Sign In page at www.smc.edu/CC.
   
2. Enter your SMC Username. Your username is your last, first, and middle name in this format: lastname_firstname_middlename.
3. Enter your temporary password which is your 6-digit date of birth in this format MMDDYY.
4. You will be notified to update your single sign-on account. Click on “Update My Account”.
5. Enter your student ID number and your temporary password (date of birth).
6. Review your SMC computer use policy and click on “I Accept”.
7. Set up 3 to 5 security questions for your account.
8. Now update your temporary password with a new one.
9. Click on ‘Submit” to set up your Corsair Connect account.

Once you are done setting up your Corsair Connect account, you can then log in now.

How to Log into Corsair Connect Account

1. Navigate to the Corsair Connect Sign-In page at www.smc.edu/CC.
   
2. Enter your SMC Username. Your username is your last, first, and middle name in this format: lastname_firstname_middlename.
3. Enter your password.
4. Click on “Login” to access your SMC Login, Corsair Connect.

How to Access your Student Email Account

1. Log in to your Corsair Connect by following the step stated above.
2. Click on the “SMC GMAIL” link.
3. On the SMC Single Sign-On Page, enter your SMC username.
4. Enter your password.
5. Click on “Login” to have access to your SMC Gmail account.

How to Add a Class or Drop a Class via Corsair Connect

1. Log into your Corsair Connect (SMC Login) Account with the steps stated under how to log into Corsair Connect.
2. Click on the “Enrollment Services” link at the centre of the page.
3. Select the right semester from the drop-down semester menu.
4. Click on the “Add a Class” link or “Drop a Class” link depending on what you want to do.
5. Enter the 4-digit section number.
6. Click on the “Add Class” button or “Drop Class” button.
7. You will receive a message informing you have succeeded in what you were doing.

How to Pay Fees Online

1. Log into your Corsair Connect (SMC Login) Account with the steps stated under how to log into Corsair Connect.
2. Click on the “Enrollment Services” link at the centre of the page.
3. Click on the “pay fees” link and select “pay total dues”.
4. A new page confirming your total due. Click on “Continue” to enter your payment information.
5. Enter your personal information and mailing address on this page.
6. Enter the payment method and billing information.
7. Confirm your payment and you are done.
