The ANNA-American Nephrology Nurses Association Career Mobility Scholarships 2023-2024 improves the lives of its members through education, advocacy, networking and science. ANNA-American Nephrology Nurses Association has a membership of over 8,000 registered nurses and other healthcare professionals Members that works in areas such as conservative management, peritoneal dialysis, hemodialysis, continuous renal replacement therapies, transplantation, industry, and government/regulatory agencies.ANNA Association is committed to the further development of the nephrology nursing field and the promotion of all ANNA members.ANNA provides opportunities and resources related to practice which includes advanced practice, research, and academic and professional advancement. Nephrology nurses work in a team-oriented environment and use their nursing skills and knowledge to make independent decisions. They care for patients of all ages with or at risk of kidney disease.ANNA grants scholarships that provide funding to support members in their pursuit of higher education and also offers grants for clinical research projects and patient/staff education programs.

The deadline for the current awards cycle was October 15, 2023, yet the deadline has been extended until November 30, 2023.

 

ANNA-American Nephrology Nurses Association Career Mobility Scholarships Application Requirement 2023/24;

• • Candidates must apply for the scholarships.
  • Applicant must be current or have been a member for a minimum of the last 2 years as of the awards/scholarship application deadline date.
  • Applicant must be Actively involved in nephrology nursing-related health care services.
  • Applicant must be enrolled in a baccalaureate or higher degree program in nursing
  •  Candidates must hold current certification through the Nephrology Nursing Certification Commission (NNCC)to qualify for he

• Applicant should submit all required documents.
• Submission of All certified transcripts, official acceptance letters and academic records.
• Applicant must submit Three letters of recommendation.
• An essay of 250 words or less written by the applicant describing career/educational goals and addressing; the expected time frame for completion of the degree, award to meet the expected expenses and the Impact of the completion of the degree program on the applicant’s nephrology nursing practice.
