Algoma University Canada Chancellor’s Award: $5000 Renewable

This prize is extendable for a total of three more years. Candidates must maintain a cumulative average of 80% in their prior fall/winter courses while remaining failure-free. 24 credits must be taken throughout two consecutive fall/winter terms of study, and students must retain those credits. The scholarship will not be offered if the student does not satisfy the requirements in any given year, and they will no longer be qualified for renewal in any succeeding years. The remainder of their four-year renewable scholarship is still open to recipients of the international scholarship who move to permanent residency. Transitioning has no negative financial effects on the scholarship grant. One-half of the prize will be given to transfer students who enroll at Algoma University during the winter term of any academic year (minimum 15 credits).
