A Nurse I Am Scholarship 2023-2024

The A Nurse I Am Scholarship program, sponsored by Cherokee Uniforms, the global leader in medical apparel, has been in existence since 2007 and seeks to provide assistance to Student Nurses, Employed Nurses and Nursing Educators. The A Nurse I Am Scholarship program has distributed more than $200,000 in scholarships to 100 deserving undergraduate and graduate students since 2007. The A Nurse I Am Scholarship program is a perfect tool to motivate and inspire nursing students and experienced nurses and also Rekindle the enthusiasm that motivated your nurses to become nurses and invite nurses who are advancing their education to apply for scholarships.

More than 100 Schools of Nursing have added the A Nurse I Am documentary film to their curriculum to assist their Graduate and Undergraduate Nurses.

A Nurse I Am Scholarship 2023-2024 Application Cycle

The A Nurse I Am Scholarship Application 2023 period will be open on 1 February 2023 and closes on 15 April 2023, at midnight.

A Nurse I Am produces two films that share the same name; A Nurse I Am, in order to address the number of nurses leaving the field within their first few years in practice and to inspire nurses to go into the profession. The two films are;

The 32-minute educational film, which features four nursing role models who received the Cherokee Inspired Comfort Award in recognition of their immense dedication, compassion, intelligence, and skill, is an outstanding example of the qualities demonstrated by nurses and other healthcare professionals every day.
The second film is a 62-minute documentary, that chronicles the personal and professional lives of three of the nurses featured in the educational version. The documentary talks about what motivates these three nurses to pursue excellence in every aspect of their clinical practice, whether meeting the needs of children with cancer, the medically underserved of Appalachia, or patients at an urban hospital, yet they maintain personal balance in the midst of high-pressure careers.

A Nurse I Am Scholarship Application Acceptance Rules for the 2023 Application Cycle;

The A Nurse I Am Scholarship program application must be completed online and any other application format will not be accepted.
The applicant must be at the moment enrolled in an accredited nursing program. Applicants that have not yet started their coursework as of February 1, 2023, yet accepted to a nursing program will not be eligible to apply for the 2023-2024 A Nurse I Am Scholarship program.
Applicant must be currently attending classes that are related to their nursing major as of 1 February 2023.
The A Nurse I Am Scholarship program Enrollment may be full-time or part-time.
The applicant’s educational program must be situated among the 50 U.S. states.
