A.B. Noel Endowed Scholarship 2023-2024 was established in 2008 and sponsored by the Lincoln Community Foundation to financially aid graduates of Wood River Rural High School in Wood River, Nebraska attending Central Community College or Concordia University in Seward, NE. It also assisted students of nursing attending Central Community College-Grand Island and Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska. The A.B. Noel Endowed Scholarship organization was started with a mission to provide leadership and resources to help build a great city and for those who can provide the financial resources needed to accomplish great things, the Foundation seeks to be a valuable facilitator.
A.B. Noel Endowed Scholarship 2023-2024 award amount varies depending on the student’s involvement in academics, therefore the amount ranges from $500 to $2000. A.B. Noel Endowed Scholarship 2023-2024 total number of awards offered by this program will be limited to one candidate each year and is non-renewable.
A.B. Noel Endowed Scholarship 2023-2024 Application Requirements;
- To apply for the A.B. Noel Endowed Scholarship, the applicant must be a current graduating senior.
- Applicant must be a student enrolled in nursing at Central Community College in Grand Island or Concordia University or a Current graduating senior or former graduate of Wood River Rural High School in Wood River, attending Central Community College in Nebraska, or enrolled in Concordia University.
- Applicant must have a GPA of 3.0 or greater.
- Applicant must Maintain a minimum 2.8 or above college GPA each semester.
- Applicant’s involvement in preference activities in high school, college and community activities.
- Applicant must have a High school or college transcript and the first page of the FAFSA report.
- The application deadline is March 15, 2023. Students are informed to submit their scholarship application and other requirements are to be submitted before the due date
- The applicants applying for this scholarship program must have completed their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application to receive this award.

- Applicant must be a Nursing, Dental, hygiene, and electrical technology student.
- Applicants must prepare an essay describing their ideas.
