MyNEVADA: Helpful Guide to Access UNR Login Portal
The student portal for the University of Nevada, Redo (UNR). MyNEVADA is built on the PeopleSoft Oracle platform. The University of Nevada, Redo uses MyNEVADA for their student data, enrollment and academic records. MyNEVADA uses navigation tiles which allow you to manage your tasks as a student, ranging from enrolling in classes to making payments. With MyNEVADA, staff and students can engage in activities like admissions, course enrollment, grades, class roster and class schedule management, the process for tuition payment, viewing your UNR Academic Calender and personal information updates. The University of Nevada, Redo’s student portal (MyNEVADA) is currently supported by the following browser versions:
- Apple Safari versions 9.0 & 8
- Google Chrome version 43
- Microsoft Edge version 25.10586
- Microsoft Internet Explorer version 11

MyNEVADA: Helpful Guide to Access UNR Login Portal
MyNEVADA is accessible to students, faculty and staff of the University of Nevada, Reno. To have access to MyNEVADA or UNR Login Portal, then you must first log into your MyNEVADA with your NSHE ID and password. Below is a helpful guide to assist you to log in and access UNR Login Portal (MyNEVADA).
How to Log into MyNEVADA
- Navigate or go to the MyNEVADA Login page at https://cs.nevada.unr.edu on your web browser.
- Enter your NSHE ID if you are a student. Faculty and staff must enter their NetID. Click on “Forgot NSHE ID?” if you don’t remember your NSHE ID.
- Enter your password associated with the ID you entered. Click on “Forgot NSHE ID Password?” if you don’t remember your password.
- Click on “Sign In” to access your MyNEVADA dashboard.
If you are encountering issues in MyNEVADA, then clear your browser cache and try again. If you have not yet activated your MyNEVADA User Account you must do so before you can have access to MyNEVADA.
How to Activate MyNEVADA Account
- Navigate or go to the MyNEVADA Login page at https://cs.nevada.unr.edu on your web browser.
- Click on “Activate MyNEVADA User Account”.
- This will direct you to the Activate Your Account page. In order to activate, you must fill in the minimum demanded information (noted with the * symbol).
- Make sure you provide the correct and required information. Then select a verification method.
- Complete the Security Check as outlined in the instructions on the page.
- Click on “Submit” to move to the next step in the Activation process.
- If the system sees your record, you will then be requested to set up a password, email address, and forgotten password help question to complete the activation process.
- Set up your password, email address, and forgotten password help question then click on “Submit”.
Your NSHE ID is the same number as your User ID – this is the number you will use together with the password you set to log into UNR Login Portal (MyNEVADA).
How to Use Your MyNEVADA Navigation Tiles and Banner
When you click on a navigation tile on your Student Homepage, MyNEVADA will open a new display of the primary navigation options available under that tile. The MyNEVADA navigation banner offers multiple options to users. For desktop users, it can be found on the top-right-hand corner of your MyNEVADA screen.
Home icon: The home icon returns you to your Homepage from any navigation in UNR Login Portal (MyNEVADA).
Search icon: The search icon allows you to search for tasks or other navigation items within MyNEVADA.
Actions List icon: The actions icon allows you to select from additional options, including “My Preferences,” “Help” and “Sign Out.”
Navigation icon: The navigation icon toggles your recently visited sections.
